Before you order
Bedding is not one-size-fits-all. Before ordering, review the information on the individual product page and compare the listed measurements with your mattress, duvet insert or pillow.
ARQEVANE offers decorative sheets, duvet cover sets and pillowcase sets in different dimensions. General size names may vary between manufacturers, so the measurements shown on the product page should be used as the primary guide.
Our products may include jacquard weaving, embroidery, dimensional folded bands, pleating, quilting, linen, cotton-linen, Tencel-cotton and other textured surfaces. Construction and care requirements vary between designs.
How to choose the correct size
Measure the bedding item that the product will be used with before placing your order. Do not rely only on general descriptions such as Twin, Queen, King, Standard or King Pillow.

Measure the pillow itself before ordering. Pillow loft and filling density may affect how the pillowcase fits and appears when in use.
Understanding textile measurements
Textile products are flexible rather than rigid. Measurements may vary slightly because of fabric characteristics, cutting, stitching, quilting, pleating, embroidery, finishing processes and normal production tolerances.
Natural and blended fabrics may also relax or contract slightly depending on use, humidity and care. Follow the care label to reduce avoidable shrinkage or distortion.
Product photographs are not a reliable guide to scale. Always refer to the measurements stated on the individual product page.
Choosing by product type
Bed sheets
The ARQEVANE sheet collection includes woven, jacquard and embroidered designs with tonal patterns, borders and dimensional surface details.
Before ordering, compare the sheet dimensions with your mattress and consider the amount of side and foot drape you prefer.
Avoid pulling decorative sections sharply or allowing raised embroidery, micro-cord details or woven surfaces to catch on jewellery, zippers, pet claws or other sharp objects.
Duvet cover sets
Our duvet cover collection includes jacquard, quilted, pleated and sculptural designs. Depending on the product, the surface may include recessed curves, dimensional folded bands, layered details, open arcs or radiating pleats.
Compare the duvet cover measurements with your duvet insert before ordering. A cover that is substantially larger or smaller than the insert may not sit evenly.
When inserting or removing a duvet, avoid pulling directly on embroidery, pleats, folds or other decorative areas.
Pillowcase sets
Our pillowcase collection includes woven, embroidered, cotton-linen and Tencel-cotton designs. Decorative details may be positioned along the ends, edges or front surface.
Measure the pillow and check the selected dimensions before ordering. Insert the pillow gradually and avoid forcing an oversized pillow through the opening.
Colour and appearance
We aim to represent product colours accurately, but appearance may vary according to photography, lighting and screen settings.
Jacquard, woven, pleated, quilted and embroidered surfaces reflect light differently depending on the viewing angle. Lustrous and matte sections may therefore appear lighter, darker or more dimensional under changing light.
Small variations in colour, weave, stitching, embroidery, pleating, quilting, pattern placement and surface texture may occur. These variations do not necessarily indicate a defect.
Linen and linen-blend products may show natural slubs, subtle irregularities and variations in texture. These characteristics are part of the fabric’s appearance and are not normally considered faults.
General care
Always follow the care instructions provided on the product page, packaging or sewn-in care label. Product-specific instructions take priority over the general guidance below.

| Iron or steam | Use only the temperature permitted by the care label. Avoid direct heat on embroidery, pleats and dimensional details. |
| Store | Store clean and completely dry in a cool, ventilated place away from moisture, direct sunlight and sharp objects. |
Care by construction
Jacquard and woven bedding
Turn the product inside out before washing where the design permits. Use a gentle method and avoid washing it with garments or bedding that contain exposed zippers, hooks or abrasive surfaces.
Do not pull loose threads. If a thread appears raised, stop using the product and contact us for guidance before cutting or attempting a repair.
Embroidered and micro-cord details
Handle embroidered areas carefully and prevent them from catching on jewellery, fingernails, zippers, buttons or pet claws.
Avoid aggressive rubbing, scrubbing or wringing. Do not apply an iron directly to raised embroidery unless the care label expressly permits it.
Pleated and folded details
Do not pull, flatten or sharply stretch pleated or dimensional folded sections. Follow the product-specific care instructions to help preserve their structure.
If reshaping is required after shipping or cleaning, use only a method permitted by the care label. Avoid high heat and direct pressure on sculptural details.
Quilted bedding
Support the product evenly when wet to reduce strain on the quilting and stitching. Make sure the item is fully dry before folding or storing.
Do not use a damaged quilted product if filling or internal layers become exposed.
Linen and cotton-linen bedding
Linen and linen blends may naturally show slubs, creases and subtle variations in weave. These characteristics are part of the material’s appearance.
Avoid excessive heat and harsh treatment. Follow the care label carefully to reduce shrinkage, fibre damage and distortion.
Tencel-cotton bedding
Use a gentle cleaning method consistent with the care label. Avoid bleach, excessive heat and abrasive washing conditions that may affect the fabric surface.
Cleaning products and methods to avoid
Unless specifically permitted by the product’s care instructions, do not use:
- Bleach or chlorine-based cleaners
- Strong stain removers or solvents
- Harsh disinfectants
- Excessive detergent
- Abrasive brushes or cleaning tools
- Boiling water
- High dryer temperatures
- Direct high heat on embroidery, pleats or folded details
- Cleaning methods that conflict with the sewn-in care label
Test any permitted stain-treatment product on a small, inconspicuous area first. Do not scrub decorative surfaces aggressively.
Before first use
Remove all external packaging carefully and inspect the product before washing or use.
Keep plastic bags, ties and other packaging materials away from babies, children and pets.
If you notice an incorrect size, missing component, mark, tear, stitching problem or other possible fault, do not wash or use the product. Contact service@arqevane.com and retain the original packaging while we review the issue.
Storage
Make sure bedding is clean and completely dry before storage.
Store products in a cool, dry and ventilated place away from direct sunlight, moisture, open flame, heaters, household chemicals and sharp objects.
Avoid sealing damp bedding inside a plastic bag or airtight container. Trapped moisture may cause odour, discolouration, deterioration or mould.
Do not place heavy objects directly on pleated, folded, quilted or other dimensional details for extended periods.
When to stop using a product
Stop using the product and inspect it if you notice:
- Large tears or open seams
- Detached fasteners or components
- Exposed internal layers or filling
- Significant fabric deterioration
- Damage that could cause entanglement or discomfort
- Persistent mould, odour or contamination that cannot be removed safely
Keep detached buttons, fasteners, packaging and other small components away from babies, children and pets.
Returns and hygiene
Please inspect the product before washing, using or sleeping on it. If you may wish to return it, keep all original packaging, labels and supplied components attached or intact where reasonably possible.
For hygiene reasons, products that have been slept on, used, washed, cleaned, altered or contaminated may not be eligible for a change-of-mind return.
Returned products must satisfy the conditions in our Return & Refund Policy. This does not affect mandatory rights relating to products that arrived faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or materially different from their description.
